My wife and I visited one of our church members, Sister Phat Sameun (Rebeca), who shared her life’s testimony.
This is her testimony: Her father passed away many years ago when she was just a small girl. Her father was an alcoholic and used to beat her, her mother and siblings. After her father passed away, she had to support her entire family. She dropped out of school at Grade 5 and applied as a factory worker to provide for her family.
She shared with us that she wants to continue her school but it seems impossible to her, because of her age. I asked her that if she goes back to school who would take care of her family. She said that even if she remains a factory worker, she would still be suffering. Since I heard her testimony, it has been a burden to me. My heart kept thinking about her and I asked myself how can I help her and her family?
I praise the LORD God that a door opened for her. Mr. Paul heard about her testimony and decided to support her to learn in Lady Beauty. There is a way, when it seemed there is no way. Help came at the right time, and through a godly person, she will be able to learn a skill. She came to stay with us for six months to learn. And she really appreciate Pastor Hor Ponlok and his wife. Praise the LORD Almighty.
