How nice it is for a pastor from the church to visit others in their time of need. How encouraging if other members also visit during this time of crisis. There’s a caring church, and lovely place.
As a pastor, I used to go out to member’s home to do visitations, and sometime I have little time remaining for my family. I also, need to have sufficient time to prepare sermons, counsel, and provide general leadership for the church. When I look at one passage of Scripture, visitation is a power to strengthen members when they are in need. If I am truly going to express care for others, then I must go where the people are. I must lay aside my busy schedules and excuses and make people a priority.
